As I press the Xbox icon on the box itself it starts to turn on and a sec or two into doing so it stops, and makes a finish noise sort of like dying out. My power supply stays orange but no sign of white or the Xbox powering up
May be a power rail issue, you can check the PSU for damaged capacitors first, make sure the power supply is unplugged and remove the 4 screws, look for capacitors that are bulging at the top or have split, this is a sign they’re faulty and need replacement.
after that you’re most likely looking at motherboard problems, possibly with one of the mosfets.
