So if I press the power button on the Xbox it will turn off the light will go off on the front of the console then it will turn straight back on in about 10 seconds. This also happens the console automatically turns off after a long period of activity. The only way to turn it off for good without pulling the cable is to go into the settings and select full shut down. Any ideas?
The power button is getting stuck depressed. this is usually caused by dust and debris wending it down just enough to make the connection. you will need to open it and clean the button out.
