Why does the AC and heat only blow out of the defrost that no matter what setting it’s on?
Hi @kploch , Seems as though there is a problem with either the AC blend door actuator or the blend door itself. The blend door is moved to direct the air between the various outlets. Here’s a video that shows how to replace the actuator in a 2010 Equinox . I realize that it is not in the same model range as your vehicle but hopefully it is similar and may help Here’s a video that shows (poorly) how to fix the blend door. There is also this one as well if you don’t want to remove the dash and just temporarily fix it.
