I use a 13" inch MacBook with Touch Bar, and for a month now I’ve had this black border at the bottom of my screen that keeps growing , right now it is almost half an inch ….. this really makes me sad because it started some a month after my warranty expired and im not on AppleCare.
please I would really like to know what the issue is, I had to make my dock vertical because of this issue as it would be almost impossible to use if it was still horizontal at this state
Sadly, I think the display is damaged from a bang or something heavy pressed on the bottom edge. You’ll need a new display assembly.
