I bought a pack of Fujifilm at urban outfitters and I only got to take several photos and 8 came out all white
Your pictures were overexposed. The Instax Mini 8 does not set exposure automatically, although it does suggest the correct setting. Before you take a photo, point the camera in the direction of your subject. A dial around the lens is used to set the correct exposure. There are 4 indicators next to the dial, one of these will light up, suggesting the correct setting. Turn the dial so that the mark corresponds to the indicator light, and take the photo. Also, there are two little round windows next to the flash. These are the exposure sensors. Be careful not to cover these with your fingers when you hold the camera, because if you do, the camera cannot measure the light and/or control the power of the flash correctly, which will cause your pictures to come out overexposed. In fact, this might be exactly what happened.
Try replacing the film. If that doesn’t work,you need to get a new one.

my seal broke at the top on my cartridge also make sure that the protective film is the first thing that comes out when you load a new cartridge (the protective film saves the others from the light
I got it last night for Christmas and I took one pic last night and I opened the back by accident and the first pic I took today came out white. Will all the pics after it turn out white? That’s what I wanna know : will they all turn out white??
When I took a picture it came out blank and then I bought more packages and then I opened one of the packet and it didn’t come out blank but why did the other ones come out blank ???
I got my camera just last night and it came with 1 film box with 10 Fiji film squares. Every single one turned out perfectly except my last photo. It stayed completely white and I took it about 4 hours ago. I’m not really sure what it is, does anyone else know?
It usually means ur film got exposed to too much light! #kanebrownishot2.0
I just bought one for my daughter birthday n she just opened it n took 2 pictures n it came out white this is not cool I’m taking it back
Wait so can you not take a picture in light? And you have to be carefull with it right?
I got the camera for my birthday an when i took a picture it comes out white and then i used another package and took a picture then i put it under my pillow and it came out right so my conclusion is if you change your film or put it in a dark place it might work and i m not gonna say it is gonna work for everyone
So I just bought mine yesterday and my first 3 pictures come out why and i don’t know what to do. Is it the film?
I’m also having the same issue; i bought brand new batteries, brand new film and still white. No red lights and flash working but the back of undeveloped pictures appears brownish?! I took out film and put it in another camera and worked fine!? Help is it a total loss?! What can i do?
What a load of crap. What to expect from a cheap device yet too expensive for what it is. #smh
