Chosen Solution
I have disconnected both the audio and HDMI cable from my device. After turning on the device, pressing the open/close button has not effect. The green power led is on. I have tried resetting by holding on the open/close button, and the plugging in the power cord. This did not fix the problem. Any suggestions or advice would be gratefully received.
@igreid wonder if it is in demo mode. While the player is turned on, press ■ (stop) , RETURN, (pause), and then the SUBTITLE button on the remote to disable it. You can also try to open the case by inserting a paperclip in the hole of the drive
