After Adjusting my valves on my 17hp briggs and stratton riding lawnmower cause it would be hard trying to crank over it started right after I adjusted them ran good ran it half hour shut off Try starting up same thing Whats wrong?
Stephen Pojda in general this could be a couple of things. Could be a bad nut (may replace it with a poly lock nut), Could be that it is the stud pulling out of the head and makes it look like the nut is loosening. A flat cam could also be causing this. Again we need to know more about the engine to give you a better answer. could be a couple of
