Hi, i droped my iphone in pool(it was not salt water) and it doesn’t work anymore. I waited a few weeks and put it into rice to dry off, i put into power and nothing happens. I put mother board in isopropyl alcohol and changed battery. Now when i charged it and connect to computer it works. i mean my computer and itunes recognize it BUT the screen is still black(dead) i tried chaning LCD screen but its the same. Any ideas what i should do?? thanks Dime
Sounds like your lcd backlight ic is fried. turn it on and shine a bright light on it. If nt clean your lcd contacts again with a toothbrush. Hope this helps!
