The letters on my keyboard doesn’t work…. Is there a way to turn them off or on??
Typically the keyboard is connected to the motherboard by a flat ribbon cable/flex. Is it possible that this has come loose. This possibility increases if the machine has been worked on before. Another possibility is that changes in your BIOS or OS have occurred, causing the keyboard to not “turn on” at boot. Unfortunately a lot more info is needed for a diagnoses, as it could be other reasons as well. You say “letters,” but do any keys work? Do you have mouse or touchpad support? Have you tried hitting F2 during boot to access the BIOS and check the settings there?
