I have the Bose Soundsport Earphones and when I plug it into my Moto G4 Play, the sound still comes out from the speaker and I can hear slight static through the earphones. However, when I plug the bose earphones into another device, they work great. Also, when I plug another set of earphones into my Moto G4 Play, they work great as well. How come it’s only my Bose and Moto G4 Play?

Hi your earphone is OK, But the problem is on your audio jack in your phone so just go your near by service center or a local mobile shop and they will clean audio jack of your phone.
