Why does my yoga keep powerung off by itself?
Is it getting hot before it shuts off? I had a Yoga Pro 2 that would dang near catch fire it got so hot. It turns out that Yogas ship with an IBM CPU controller software package that didn’t play nice with Lenovo’s. Once I disabled the IBM program, the Yoga ran just fine and stopped shutting down due to overheating. If that doesn’t work, its very possible that one of the fans could be dirty and that is causing the overheating. If its not overheating, then its most likely a software glitch that a reset should fix if you are on Win 10. I love Lenovo products, they just have some serious bugs in the Yoga line.
