Why every time I start a game my shutouts off without warning. Its not an overheating problem . I checked.I tried switching outlets and using a power supply box and in combination worked but now it does not?
Dear Escobar, I read you facing problem, Its because of processor getting hot suddenly with heavy processing. It can be fixed by cleaning all air path and cooling fan. and use extra cooling fan from out side it will help you to keep your ps4 getting heat up fast.
I took it completely apart, cleaned all the dust out, and reapplied thermal paste to the APU(after cleaning the old gunk off). It works perfectly now. https://youtu.be/KD5Ihb4Ou_Y
i had the same problem with my ps4 slim and what i did was simply remove the internal hard drive and first inspect it for any damage inside and out, and when i found none, l looked at its connection part. i saw it was burnt out so i immediately bought an external hard drive to save all my data and went online and bought a new hard drive. then, i simply connected the new drive and reloaded all my data. not only was i able to enter a game (after weeks) i was also seeing my playstation running faster, smoother, and all in all, better! i’d highly recommend to do this.
Same problem with me I can watch movies I can play dvd games but when I start a game from system storage it’s shutdown I think maybe my hard drive have faults so I change it still same the problem is I find is a cockroach is make spark in power supply and make some parts damage so you need to change your power supply it’s will work fine
Put your PlayStation in Safe Mode And Update From The internet And it will Fix Your Problem

I had this exact same issue with a ps4 I bought 2nd hand, privately. a month after I got it it started randomly shutting off or putting it into rest mode, for about three months. none of the suggested remedies helped me. A week ago I had the brainwave to blow out as much dust as I could, so that is what I did, with a small compressor I have. so far no problems at all……..5 days and counting.
