Hi! There is a video which was on my phone, taken with my phone (iPhone 5), which was deleted shortly it was recorded, but it still keeps showing up when I connect my phone to my Macbook. It shows it when I go to iMovie, and am about to transfer videos off my phone on to iMovie. I should not have iCloud on, the video is not on my computer, and the video is nowhere to be seen on my phone, not even in the “Recently Deleted” album in Photos. I also left a message on Apple’s support pages, but no one responded. The video desperately needs to be deleted for good, and I am hoping to find some answers soon! Thank you in advance
Hi - here is the fix. The videos showing up will be in the RECENTLY DELETED album on your phone - they are caching here. If you delete them from this section too, they will no longer show up in iMovie.
This is very strange… To be correct, a deleted video is appearing in iMovie when you connect your iPhone to your Mac? If so, I would make sure that the movie isn’t on the iPhone’s iMovie app (if it’s installed), then if it’s still there, go to iMovie on the Mac and use ctrl+click the video to find the video’s location.
Did you permanetly delete it or just delete it ? You have to permentely delete it to never see it again.
I have the same problem and I tried almost everything. It’s still in there.
