Hello, this is my first time using a forum because i’m frustrated. Well, i did make a 50 gb partition in my mac for bootcamp to instal Windows. I finished by finding it not enough so i sort of delete it was named Recovery Hd I wanted so bad t get it back but its finished by disappearing. I did have 500gb on my hard drive ( disk utility), now i have 450. So i thought maybe i will restart it it will work. Then the flashing questions mark appears. What should i do, i want to keep my files. Thank you
You’ll likely need a bootable USB drive. Sounds like you wiped out the recovery partition. Find a friend with a Mac and follow this guide: How to create a bootable macOS Sierra installer drive. Then use the Option Key to get to the boot manager. Hopefully you can salvage your stuff to another drive as you’re going to need to reformat your drive and reinstall your MacOS & Apps. Before you recover your data you’ll need to cut it down. I would wait until I got BootCamp setup with your Windows and its Apps. Reference: Mac startup key combinations
Try, Command + R Hope it helps
