Chosen Solution

Hello! Tried to replace my volume up and down button. After the repair I dont get the click sound that I used to I searched online and found out that you can insert a plastic shim will fix the problem. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHa87hNY… Another guide suggested that the rubber square on gold contacts were missing. Opened my phone, and it doesnt seem that I’m missing those rubber pieces https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kl3JsKKs… So I have a few questions: Will one of this solution work? Is there another solution? Is there any website where I can buy this parts? Any feedback will be much appreciated!

on the volume up and down button there should be a metal circle underneath each button on the other side. this is necessary for it to click, replacements usually do not come with them so you have to take them off your old one and glue them to your new one. the metal circles are what make contact with the the rubber square on the contacts, this pressed against the metal circle which and against the contact which gives the “clicking” noise you’re looking for
