My HP Probook Laptop doesn’t boot again. it turns off after 8 seconds when i press on power button. i have tried several options such as ; disconnect all peripherals, remove AC Adapter and battery, and then press on power button for about 15 seconds and it worked for the first time. but after i have shutdown the laptop and start it again, the problem reappeared. now i have tried the same method repeatedly but its no more responding. please what should i do. Help me. Thanks

My PC had the same problem. It disappeared when I performed a CMOS-reset. Such a reset is very easy to do. I would recommend looking up the procedure in the motherboard manual of your computer. It’s often a matter of switching a jumper for a few seconds and putting it back. Alternatively you can remove the motherboard’s battery for a few minutes. This operation should not mess up your computer, all it does is resetting the motherboard to its default settings. That being said, I still recommend looking up the procedure in the motherboard manual of your computer.
