I have a used 2008 Jeep Patriot that won’t start properly UNLESS I pop the hood and reset the instrument cluster fuse in the fuse box. All I have to do is take the fuse out, put it back in, and the Jeep starts fine. Any ideas why? I’m also noticing the car shake with increased speeds and going up steep hills.
@zta errors like that are really hard to pinpoint. I suggest you get the OBD scanned. Places like Autozone do it for free. It may be a code that does not trigger the Check Engine light to come on but Jeep had issues with their TIPM boxes in those years. . Get it scanned let us know what you find out.
