My 2ds, is cracked from the inside, its not cracked from the outside its cracked from the inside.
Hi it sounds like you have a broken LCD screen. The 2ds actually uses just one screen for both of the screens shown. You can purchase a replaced screen and fix the 2ds fairly easily and by following a guide here on ifixit. Nintendo 2DS Screen Replacement
The same has happened to me. It is because the LCD screen has been cracked causing it to leak. The easiest way to fix it is just to send it into a repair shop.
I had the same problem I accidentally step on the touchscreen of my 2ds and I heard a snap sound and when I turned it on there was white colored cracks on both screens of the 2ds.
I have a cracked screen and the touch stopped working. The screen still comes on it just won’t let me touch anything on the screen. Any ideas?
The reason why this is happening is because you need to buy a new LCD screen for your 2DS because the on you have broke.
The LCD screen is broken, I’m suffering the same fate and the outer screen is not helpful, I suggest getting a case
Mine showed a gray,white,orange and red crack
I did this too it was on my bed and got crushed, all you have to do is buy a new one and replace it or bring it to a repair shop. If none of those are okay with you then just buy a new one.

I just had this problem too, it happened right after I completed the first Mine Cart minigame of the remake of Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga. The fact that the cracks don’t appear when the 2ds is off makes me think either the cracks are inside the glass, or in the software.

I do not Know how to fix it but the reason that this happened is pressure on the screen. As an example if you put it in a full backpack there will be pressure on the screen. Update (01/05/2019) I don’t know how to fix it but it is caused by pressure on the screen. As an Example, if you put it in a full backpack there will be pressure on the screen.
I have the same problem to when i was in gym class my 2ds was in my bag and i sat on it so then it broke please help.
The same exact thing happened to me except that, for some reason, I can still access each app in the 3DS.

Yes my cousin fe on my 2DS by accident and now it looks like a pen just busted on the inside and it’s spreading
