Hello, I got a Samsung E42F5000AW but theres no picture. Whenever I shine a bright light at the display I see the “normal” screen. I disassembled the TV and noticed that the lights are very faint/dim and some even more faint/dim then others. They also flash every +- 2 seconds. Here’s what I tried so far: I disconnected the mainboard from the power supply board but the same issue occurs. Any help would be appreciated! Nigel this”the mainboard from the power supply board but the same issue occurs “ makes it most likely a failed backlight array. One or more of the backlight strips has failed. To fix this you will have to disassemble your panel and replace the strips.
