Hello! We got the iFixIt iPhone 5s Battery Replacement Kit. The battery and kit arrived quickly and the replacement went without a hitch. The issue we are having is that it seems not to hold a charge for very long. Have you experienced that? My son’s phone is an iPhone 5S and it will only last 2 hours of usage. We are experimenting with how long it will hold charge with no usage. Today we charged it to 100% then left it on without using it and without a SIM card. At the end of the day (as evidenced in the pic), it was at 25% after 14 mins of Usage and 14+ hours of Standby. Can you help? Thanks!
Check the battery health of the battery by using either 3Utools from 3u.com if you have a windows computer or if you have a Mac you can use coconutbattery. It’s worth a try to restore the iPhone and see if the rapid battery drain still exists. Backup the phone via iTunes before hand as restoring the phone via iTunes wipes the data on the phone.
