I took apart my ps4 to clean the cooling fan from dirt and dust. I put it back together now the blue ray drive will not insert disks and the eject button will not work. I have the first model of the ps4 where it has the glossy faceplate for the hard drive.
Check your ribbon and wire connections. When you reassembled, you may not have fully inserted the connections. Did you take apart the Bluray drive when you took the console apart? I sometimes forget to check the ribbon connections to the daughterboard. Update (09/21/2016) When you say you took it apart, do you mean the Bluray drive or the console? If you took the Bluray drive apart, the ribbons push into the connectors. Sometimes the ribbons don’t push all the way in so the signal from the mother board never reaches the drive.
