I’ve tried so many times to seat it properly and whenever I turn it on the Apple logo look s normal and black for about one seconds then turn straight to an orange color than next thing you know there’s lines. I gave up and found out it’s working great besides the lines the lines get worst when watching videos, taking pictures and when there’s bright light in videos burn works like it should. It’s one of the 70$ screen replacements. Any Idea what’s it could be
Clean the connectors and try again. Hang your old screen on and see if it still persists, if not then send the new screen back.

Nowadays lcd is also comes faulty.so you must put another lcd in logic board. If still it will happen same thing then it’s logic board isse I where the lcd flex cable connects.there might be a dust or not fit properly cables .
