I see the black text when I turn it on but not the white lcd light. I turned it on and the white backdrop flickered on and then off. It’s usually off though. How do I fix it?
Dj DaMan going by what you are describing, this sounds like a bad backlight. Check all connections/connectors to ensure they are properly seated and not bend, corroded etc. If all of that looks okay, you may have to try and get a new display TI-84 Plus CE Teardown
