Hi. It seems that no matter what I do, the camera doesn’t seem to want to turn on. Nothing is displaying on the screen and the camera doesn’t seem to react to anything.
First you want to check the batteries to see if they are working properly. Next, check to see if the batteries are the correct size and that they are connected correctly. Make sure the batteries are touching the posts. Lastly, try removing the batteries and putting them back in. Refer to troubleshooting page for more information.
Same problem I went outside two days ago I made grate photos when I came home after one hour I wanted to download the photos to my laptop but the camera never turned on I replaced the battery and still nothing no ideea what to do next :(
mine too not turn on trying many new battery still $@$*
No body has a fix for this yet??? Mine is having the same problem!
just had the same issue May 5, 2018 - this camera has never been used except a couple of photo snaps to see the photo quality ehen given to me as a bday gift in 2012. Was st my brother’s wedding planning to use it - turned on but no picture and it shut it self down. Apparently this camera MUST have all alkaline batteries to work - called tech support - bought alkaline batteries and no more issues of this kind.
