When outside temp gets above about 45 degrees my car starts eating gas like crazy and almost stalls out and smokes? When it is below that temp it runs like a dream?
ldkjr100 , 1993 lexus es300, Could be the temperature sensor faulty telling the computer to give too rich of mixture.. Best to have the vehicle scanned for trouble codes as a first step. Some of the auto parts suppliers offer free code reading like Pepboys, Nappa, Advanced auto parts,etc and some of the guys are very knowledgeable and may have seen the issue often and put you on the right track.
