The card reader on my switch stopped working about a week ago. By that I mean when I tried inserting a game card, an error message popped up telling me to power off the switch. This error persisted any time there was a game card in the device. I even bought a new card reader and installed it myself, but the same error message comes up. Any thoughts?
Not sure if you ever got it fixed, depending on where you got your replacement part from it could be a bad part. Some people have luck out of the gate others get a part that gives them the same error or ends up messing up their touchscreen. It’s like a hit or miss, my thing is try getting a refund/replacement if you didn’t already and just buy another one. Watched a guy on YouTube replace the bad one three times, the third was with one he knew worked and it fixed his issue.
same thing just happened to me, the new part doesn’t work and now neither does the touch screen.
