Presario CQ62 Why does my computer run so slowly? Other computers in the house arent ao extremely slow.
Looking at the specs, it is 100% your RAM. Spend some money and make sure it supports your laptop and upgrade to 8GB’s of RAM. Your max supported is 8 and it comes with 2GB. With that RAM amount, if you ever trying to open more than 1 thing then it will slow down dramatically, even multiple tabs on a browser. Not enough to multitask. The CPU is fine. Upgrade that to 8GB and I assure you it will many times faster and smooth sailing. :)
