Today I just used my ps4 controller to play some mobile games on an iPad Pro… and I can’t connect it back to my ps4 even after plugging an usb cable in it and pressing the PS button. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?
That seems like a strange issue to occur but one thing you could do is reset it. To reset the controller: Turn off and unplug your PS4.Locate the small reset button on the back of the controller near the L2 shoulder button.Use a small tool to push the button inside the tiny hole. Hold the button down for roughly 3-5 seconds.Connect the controller to the PS4 using a USB cable and press the PS button. If the light bar turns blue, the controller has paired. The small tool you can use is a SIM card tool, a paperclip, or sometimes even a ball point pen works. Image for reset button:
You can also try holding the share and PS button at the same time for a few seconds. You should see the controller’s front light flash rapidly a few times, meaning it’s ready for bluetooth pairing. It should work with usb cable though, like you did. Do this on the start screen of the PS4, waiting for a controller. If it works it will recognise the controller by it self and the light will stop flashing.
