Chosen Solution
After attempting to fix a broken home button on my 3DS, my 3DS no longer powers on at all. It will however light up when the power cable is plugged in. After opening it up I’ve seen two broken ribbon cable connectors that I’ve attempted to fix. Is there anything else that may have caused this, or is this the broken ribbon cable connectors?
On your own there is no way of fixing this. Send it in for a repair. Leaks in DS could of burned it or over playing in. In case power supply leaked don’t play it until it’s repaired
