Hi, I tried to put a PS4 Pro Disk Drive into another PS4 Pro, to see if it works. After seeing it does not work, i put the Disk Drive back into the original console. Now the Disk Drive doesn`t work there either. Everything was working before. Motherboard and Daughterboard are back together, it should work. Did I mess it up?
The best thing that you can do to troubleshoot is to go back through step by step and make sure that everything is connected/seated correctly. My guess is that since it did not work on either console, maybe the ribbon cable has become unseated on the drive itself.
