When every i tilt my screen in a certain direction my display will change colors/slightly flicker. I have a feeling its a cable and apple said it would cost me $500 for them to fix it…
Sounds like a display cable problem to me. Personally I would let Apple do this repair because these machines were not meant to be repaired by any one else but Apple Techs. However, if you are brave enough to do this yourself you can buy a new display cable below. I think you will have access to the display cable while doing this guide, just don’t remove the screen assembly though.
