why is the display has vertical line
Bernard Jones, if it is a single vertical line, it most likely is a bad binding (TAB) error on the LCD. Of course you do want to make sure that the cables are properly seated, but my first choice is a bad LCD panel.
LCD panel. To crush any hopes and dreams of it being the cable, before someone chimes in that it uses the cable, be reminded that displayport is a works-or-doesn’t-work protocol. It isn’t like LVDS which is based on difference between lines. It’s the LCD.
