Every time I turn on my ds4 controller around 5 to 6 minutes after it wouldn’t work. The blue light is on indicating that the controller is on but no matter what button is pleased it won’t work.
Suspect the battery. Replace it. It may be draining faster than the controller knows is and not providing enough power for Bluetooth. DualShock 4 Battery Replacement If that still doesn’t fix it, than try it on a different console. If it has the same problem, you will need to replace the motherboard. Hope this helps!
