iphone 5s lcd broken ill changed the new one front camera not woking ill replaced new camera stil its not work

Hi There are a number of factors that can contribute to the failure of the front camera/ proximity sensor/ambient light sensor. What I would do is first check if the connector is properly seated on the socket itself. Usually it snaps into place. Next, I would check the pins on the connector and the logic board itself. Usually, the tiny gold pins on the sockets can be damaged from forceful installation of the connectors, which is not good. Always always always remember that if a connector does not want to snap on to a socket, do not force it or else damaged will be ensued. It has happened to me before. Next i would check the installation of the camera/sensors on the screen. Was the camera lens holder and ambient/proximity sensor gasket transferred and properly seated onto the new screen? Are the screws present and properly torqued down on the earpiece bracket? Over tightening can cause damage and other problems. Is the earpiece and its bracket properly installed? Lastly, I would check the flex cables themselves. Are they pinched or severely folded? This can potentially cause problems. The flex cables should only be formed in round or U shapes. The flex cable that connects the ground copper sticker on the back of the screen shield is an exception since it already comes looking messed up. I’m not too sure if the copper sticker that sticks to the back of the screen shield would make a difference. I have gotten the camera and everything else working without it. However, I do suggest that you do reinstall it since it seems like it acts as a ground to complete the circuit. Forgot to add one more thing. Restoring your phone would more than likely not do anything. It’s usually not software related but if you do feel very confident that a restore would perhaps fix it and you backed up all your data, then by all means go for it. Best of luck.

I replaced the front camera last 2 weeks but the problem is still there . The front camera still freezes . Is it caused by the software ?

I’ve broken my front camera from dropping my iPhone 5s, even though it DID have an Otter Box on it. Just because you have a case, doesn’t mean your camera is FULLY protected. Your camera has a lens inside it that allows it to see. But if the phone is dropped too much, this could damage, shift, or destroy that lens. But thankfully, nothing else will be damaged (if you have an OtterBox case, this is true). Some people don’t mind their front camera not working. Be glad that no one will be able to see your face if they hack your phone. -Someone On The Internet

My iPhone 5 doesn’t have a camera device how do I get it

you need to root the phone.

OK, i found the same issue with my front camera, so when i wanted to face time my Grand children i found my screen was black, rear camera worked fine, but front camera had nothing, i knew it worked only last week, so i went into settings, then privacy, down to camera, and i unchecked all to boxes, so there was nothing in green, went back to my front facing camera, and camera is working again, so tells me that one on the apps allowed to used the camera is causing an issue, its now elliminating which one by switching then all back on one by one, so turn one on and check the camera, if ok then go back and switch on another, and so on until you found the app causing the issue, good luck, BTW this is on my Iphone 5s, ios 10.3.2.
