My HTC Desire 816’s headphone jack suddenly stopped working. One minute, I could use it regularly. The next, it wouldn’t recognize my headphones. I tested my headphones on my tablet, and they work, so I know it’s the phone. Any suggestions?
There may be some pocket lint or some material jammed into the jack that isn’t letting it connect properly. See if you can find some needle-tip tweezers or a paper clip to clean it out.
I had the same problem with a Note 4 case. Thought it was a defective headphone adaptor, but the adaptor worked fine in an another phone. The paper clip clean out solved the problem ( even though I didn’t notice any lint coming out.) Thanks!

i am using htc desire 820 my earphones suddenly stopped working on my phone, this is a really wierd situation as my earphones are working well on other phones but not on my phone that means earphones are working fine and other earphones are also working on phone that means earphone jack is also working fine. but those earphone are just not working with my phone, and phones earphone jack is just not working with those earphones.
Please help me my beats phones aren’t working anymore on my HTC phone anymore I never had any issues with Samsung phone dissapointed customer
