I had my iPhone 7’s screen and battery replaced today. After the battery replacement, my home button stopped working completely , so nothing was done to the screen or any of the buttons components. Does anyone know why this happened and how it can be fixed?

Usually it’s the cable that goes bad on the screen that connects the home button. Sometimes I see this go bad with no signs of damage. Bending the cable seems to be enough to damage it. A new screen will fix this problem if the home button was never removed from the screen.
