my htc went through an impact and no screen or other damage occured. but i noticed that it will not read my sim card (i know it works because i just paid it). the back casing is bent a bit. but my question is, why wont it pick up service??? any answers out there? thankyou in advance.
You may have dislodged the connector for the antennae when you dropped it. I’ve seen these phones take a beating without any issue, and that’s a fairly normal result. If you know how to disassemble and verify the connector that would be the way to go.
