Chosen Solution
I posted about this phone earlier this year I believe, the motherboard was fried so I took a motherboard out of a trashed phone and replaced it. The phone seems to disconnect from data and won’t work but 2 times a day other than being on wifi. When clicking anything like messages or something in settings it freezes and doesn’t go anywhere. Anyone have any idea why it’s acting like this?
Apple is very against self repairs, my guess would be your issue is due to it being an ‘unauthorized’ repair. I would suggest taking it to an apple certified repair shop (or at least a repair shop that knows how to correctly program the board and parts)
