So my iPhone 6s had a dead battery and wouldn’t turn on even if u charge it so I decided to go to a local mall to fix it and when they fixed it, it was at 39% and then I started to realize the battery kept going down really fast and when I finally got home it was around 20% something percent and it kept charging backwards dropping and dropping now it is 1% I’m not sure what to do. Should I go back to my local mall and waste money to get it fixed again? I don’t know what’s wrong with my phone?? Please help.
The store you got it repaired from should have warranty, at least 30 days. Explain to them about the problem and hopefully they will help you out as that sounds like a bad replacement battery.
omg I had the same problem ! I read another article and it mentioned that you can get it to work again by moving the top of the charger where the charging port is? I gave it ago and it seems to be working perfectly fine again. Give this a go.
I have the same problem
It sounds like the tristar chip is bad. Take it to a repair shop and have them test the tristar chip. You can buy a tester they are about 130 plus dollars. I believe ifixit sells them. They usually go bad from using aftermarket chargers that aren’t MFI Certified. You can put in a new battery and it will work fine until the battery dies but it won’t recharge.
