Recently i have noticed that sometimes my iphone is doing automatic action without my control (open an application, making a call, open the camera, taking a picture, etc…). its not happening on a regular basis, but its been happening for few weeks. The only way to stop this is the phone is airplane mode for few minutes
Has the screen been recently replaced? It sounds like a faulty replacement screen to me. If the screen has been replaced, do the corners of the frame look dented inwards which would cause the screen to be pushed up on that corner or edge? Also bent frame can also put stress on the screen causing ghost touching.
