hi! i did a lcd replacement last week and after a few days it gets hot and after the day it gets hot again and then suddenly won’t open despite that it’s not low battery. And it’s turn off for almost one day and now I have the same problem again. 3 days after, my iphone xr gets overheat again and still won’t open. What should I do?
Hi kai, It’s hard to diagnose such an issue over the internet. The first question you should be asking yourself is where did you buy the screen from? Many shady shops will sell you crappy LCD screens while the OEM screens are OLED. The ribbon cables are extremely picky about how you bend them, if you make a crease or sandwich it in between the screen and the body it will create a short in the flex which could possibly result in a small catastrophe. If I were you I’d open the phone again and look for anything burnt around the screen connector.
