Every since dropping my computer, when I do something challenging such as running CAD programs, opening multiple tabs and downloads it starts to make a loud whirring noise I assume is the fan. Should I take it to a specific shop for repair, or would I be able to fix this issue myself with the appropriate tools.
Hi, You should be able to fix it yourself with the tools needed to take your laptop apart. Your fan could have moved or something could have become dislodged that grinds against your fan. You will only be able to figure out what is wrong once you open it up.
