To start off, thank you all for helping me out with this problem I’m having with my MacBook Pro. It’s a 15in Retina display pro from about mid 2015. For full transparency I did drop my laptop the other night. However, I’ve used it since then and it has been completely fine. However, about an hour into me using the laptop the screen started flickering and the screen went to black. The backlight was still on however. When I rebooted it, the apple loading page would flicked with the apple logo flashing where it usually sites and about a quarter of the way down on the screen. After loading about 3/4 of the way, the screen goes back to normal and my laptop boots up like normal. After logging in if I don’t run anything the laptops display stays fine but as soon as I open, say a web browser, the display starts flashing and glitching again. If I exit the browser, the display returns back to normal. However, if I stay on the web browser for any longer than 3 minutes the screen goes completely black again. Has as anyone else ran into this problem? What is the solution for this? Could it just be a video card or something that has wiggled out of place a little bit? Thank you all!
