Chosen Solution
I recently bought a new battery from ifixit; I followed all the instructions and everything went smoothly. I made sure to calibrate the battery as the instructions said but it seems like my laptop is overheating super quickly ever since installing this new battery. The battery drains pretty quickly as well. Not sure if I may have done something wrong with the installation or if maybe it’s just a faulty battery? Please help :(
I don’t see any issues with your battery here. What I see is you haven’t allowed it to fully charge. Leave it plugged in for a good 10 hours and take another snapshot of CoconutBattery so we can see what happened.
