Chosen Solution
My macbook has been freezing (no mouse or keyboard response) for many days now. I’ve fixed the permissions reinstalled the OS and still had this problem. I thought it was bad ram so I took out the ram sticks one by one to see if one of them was bad. Ram worked fine but problem persisted. I recently tried to reinstall Snow Leopard using the CD but my computer froze when I was checking the utilities. (It would also occasionally restart itself after a Freeze). Is this a logic board Problem?
Tough problem. Start up with the original System installation disk that came with the Book by inserting the disk and holding down the “D” key. Run the diagnostics and tell us the results please.
