Chosen Solution
I’ve cleaned out the dust in both fans and also apply new thermal past in the heat sink and my mid 2015 15” MacBook is still overheating much quicker than normal. I’m running Logic Pro X which uses a lot of the CPU when using plugins. In my case, I even try opening a new project with just a blank slate and not even pressing play or anything, and in about 15 minutes it starts overheating. I have no other tab open while running Logic and about 96 GB of memory space available if that has to do with anything. Hope there’s a solution to this problem because I really like this computer. Thank you!
The heatsink may be missed placed or the thermal compound is bad, do you hear the fan?
