Hi, My MacBook Pro isn’t turning on anymore after a regular shutdown. MagSafe LED is Orange when charging then Green on full charge, battery is OK I have tested it on another A1286, the charge verify LED button is OK too, I’ve tried to reset SMC, hold power button long time with MagSafe, battery, both ….nothing happens I opened the case, disconnect keyboard then test power on with power pads, still nothing. It was working perfectly till then, If you have an ideas please … Thanks in advance,

I’m suspecting your logic board has died (CPU). Not much you can do other than replace it MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Late 2008 and Early 2009 Logic Board Replacement

Hi, I’ve fixed the problem by putting logic board in the oven for 7 minutes at 180 º Celsius, after waiting 30 minutes, reinstalled into case , it turns on.
