It seems as if it is not getting any power. I unplugged and plug the monitor back in. When connected to my MacBook Pro it doesn’t do anything and isn’t recognized my MacBook is updated. I also read that the thunderbolt cable could’ve went bad so what do you guys think? Don’t really wanna waste money trying a thousand different things.
If you have a MacBook Pro with a either the original MagSafe or MagSafe2 connector, what happens when you plug in the display cord to power your system does it work (Amber or green LED) using this gem of an app! CoconutBattery take a snapshot of the apps main window and post it here for us to see Adding images to an existing question. Do you hear the fan? in a darkened room when you turn the display on do you see the faint light of the backlight?
