So I had this monitor(lg 27ea63v-p) about for 3 years now and recently it started to flicker for about 10 min sometime longer every time I power it on.

I have this problem too. Apparently this monitor likely has some capacitor issues.. Read this: https://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/… Unfortunately its not confirmed.. However, I went and replaced my monitor because I was tired of it waiting to figure it self out..

Hi Sergio, hi Turd, in case you have not dumbed your monitor yet, you might want to take a look at this youtube video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUaZpIw6… After replacement of this inexpensive capacitor (680uF at 25V) my monitor is back to normal. In case you don’t like to fiddle with electrics you might as well go for a new LG ac/dc power plug as regular 19V power supplies just wouldn’t work properly. Seems like the LG are a bit picky with the electrical power signal.
