I ordered a new battery from ifixit and installed it myself. Now when I turn on my computer, the keyboard only works during the loading screen, the fans are on full blast, and my charger, brand new, will not light up. I’ve tried to reset the SMC to no success and I let the battery drain till it died. I still think its the SMC not resetting, but what do I need to do to fix it?
At this point I normally would recommend installing CoconutBattery but as you can’t get the system to boot up we can’t diagnose the problem any farther. I think you’re going to need someone with deeper skills to help you diagnose your logic board problem.
